The Redcliffe Aero Club would like to advise that during these unprecedented circumstances regarding COVID-19 we have and will continue to make the necessary changes for our current full-time diploma students.

The Redcliffe Aero Club has made appropriate changes based on the below:

All full-time diploma students currently enrolled in the qualification AVI50219 Diploma of Aviation
(Commercial Pilot Licence – Aeroplane) utilising the VET Student Loans under Section 126 with varying tuition fees Section 133, in the current student intake all changes were made prior to passing the published census date for the upcoming phase, which complies with rule 1bi.
All students had the opportunity to withdraw without penalty before census date for their current phase completing with rule 1bii and 1biii under the government COVID-19 change of circumstances rule.

The Redcliffe Aero Club inline with rule 126 varying tuition fees section 2 has not made any changes to our course fee structure but have changed the order of phases that the course structure will follow based on the COVID-19 restrictions.

Under rule 127 publishing variation of tuition fees, all students have been provided with amended training plans and statement of covered fees clearly outlining all course durations, order of study changes.

Meeting rules selection 133 when creating amended training plans, census dates or all outstanding study periods have been moved into the future hence not disadvantaging any of our students, under rule section 134, this is also recently been published on our website under the diploma tab.
